Relationship of Marx's idea of ownership of labor to hominid evolution
PATERNAL CERTAINTY IN THE MONOGAMOUS GROUPS OF EARLY HOMINIDS AFFORDED MALES MARXIAN “OWNERSHIP” OF THEIR LABOR FOR NUCLEAR FAMILIES
Relevance of private ownership in capitalism to hominid evolution
SIMILARLY, THE ENERGY RELEASED BY PRIVATE OWNERSHIP IN CAPITALISM IS THE SAME AS THAT RELEASED BY MALES “OWNING” THEIR OFFSPRING.

The premise in this blog is that, the event that initiated our hominid biological family was the ascendance of the will of individual apes to dominate each other into the entity of group justice in small monogamous hominid bands of 20-30 individuals. But what would drive such a unique natural process?

There are two important features of this process to carefully note. The reason that the dominant mentalities within individuals merged into a single group entity was that there was (and is) only one set of rules available in order to suppress the individual intent to dominate in the establishment of a monogamous group. There was only one brand of morality available, not two or three to choose from. The reason that God is singular is that justice is singular.

A way to understand this initial hominid transformation is a curious convergence of Karl Marx’s emphasis on the importance of the ownership of one’s own labor and the similar tenet of private enterprise.  That which drove the novel transformation of individual dominance into the entity of authority was this same connection of ownership by males to their own children. It is the same energy that creates the magical productivity of private enterprise that was harnessed within bands of four to seven nuclear families that drove the evolution of a monogamous mating system.

Just as free enterprise cannot flourish if private property is not enforced by law, so too the productivity of a monogamous mating system cannot flourish if not underwritten by law.    So, the ascendance of individual dominance into the entity of justice naturally and progressively emerged in successive generations as a result of the enhancement of the fecundity resulting from the productive energy that only the personal connection of ownership can release.
